Information for Prospective Investors

Quantero Capital is intended for eligible investors seeking exposure to an actively managed alternative strategy through a pooled private investment vehicle.

This page provides general information only. It is not an offer, solicitation or recommendation. Any offering will be made exclusively through definitive confidential offering documents and only where legally permitted.

Who the Fund Is Intended For

The fund may be appropriate only for investors who:

  • Satisfy all applicable legal eligibility requirements

  • Understand the risks and limited liquidity associated with private funds

  • Can tolerate the loss of some or all invested capital

  • Have a sufficiently long investment horizon

  • Do not require daily liquidity

Eligibility and suitability will be evaluated during the subscription process. Satisfaction of a wealth or professional-investor threshold does not itself mean the fund is suitable for a particular investor.

Investment Approach

Investors participate in a pooled strategy that may use equities, exchange-traded funds, listed derivatives, long/short positioning and hedging.

The fund will be managed according to its investment mandate and governing documents. Individual investors will not own or direct the fund’s underlying positions.

Fund Structure

Fund Structure and Service Providers

The final legal structure, domicile, manager, general partner, administrator, auditor, banking relationships, brokerage relationships and other service providers are being established with professional advisers.

Confirmed arrangements will be disclosed in the fund’s definitive documents. No service provider should be inferred from this website unless expressly identified after appointment.

How a Pooled Investment Works

Investors subscribe for an interest in the fund. Subscription proceeds are contributed to the fund and invested collectively according to its mandate.

Fund assets are maintained in accounts established for the fund with its appointed financial institutions. Investors receive an economic interest in the pooled vehicle rather than a personally managed brokerage account.

Subscription, valuation, reporting, redemption and transfer terms will be governed exclusively by the fund documents.

Investor Reporting

Subject to the final operating arrangements, investors are expected to receive periodic statements and performance reporting. The frequency, content and methodology of reporting will be described in the offering documents.

Investors should not expect real-time access to portfolio positions unless the fund expressly determines otherwise.

Prospective Investor Process

1. Initial inquiry
A prospective investor contacts Quantero and provides basic jurisdiction and eligibility information.

2. Preliminary discussion
Quantero provides general information about the strategy, risks and anticipated structure.

3. Offering materials
Where legally permitted, an eligible prospective investor may receive the confidential offering and subscription documents.

4. Review and verification
The investor reviews the documents with their own advisers and completes applicable identity, eligibility, anti-money-laundering and source-of-funds checks.

5. Acceptance
The fund or its authorized representative determines whether to accept the subscription.

6. Subscription
Accepted investors transfer subscription funds according to the official instructions contained in the fund documents.

An inquiry or completed application does not guarantee acceptance.

Fees and Liquidity

The fund may charge management, performance, organizational, administrative and other fees or expenses. It may also apply a high-water mark, hurdle, lock-up, notice period, redemption restrictions or other terms.

All fees, expenses, liquidity terms and conflicts will be described in the definitive fund documents. Those documents will control if any website summary differs from the legal terms.
